New Single Patient Use Space Chamber asthma spacers launched in April!
MDI is launching a new Single Patient Use version Space Chamber® spacer, which will be available in hospitals throughout Australia and internationally from April 1st 2007. The Single Patient Use version Space Chamber® spacer combines all the benefits of the current autoclavable spacer (including the patented 2-valve technology) at a more economical cost. The Single Patient Use version Space Chamber® spacer cannot be autoclaved, but is still able to be cleaned in a dishwasher or sterilised by boiling.

New look Space Chamber® spacer!
Look out for the new space-theme Space Chamber® spacers in pharmacies from April 2007. Space Chamber® spacers will be sold in bright, colourful and space-themed boxes emphasizing 2-valve technology. Two valves mean that it is easier to inhale asthma medication as well as exhaling through the spacer. Ideal for patients with severe asthma symptoms as well as patients suffering from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
